Job summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Semi Driver for its Transportation Operations team in Edmonton, Alberta. This permanent full-time position requires on-site work with Sunday to Thursday shifts.

You will operate semi-trucks, prepare trailers, perform minor mechanical tasks, and conduct vehicle inspections while maintaining safety and customer focus. A Grade 12 diploma and a Class 1 license with at least six months' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Class 1 license with a minimum of 6 months experience.
• Must pass an in-cab evaluation by a Transportation Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-truck and/or body unit including rural and city deliveries, city pickups, and trailer spotting.
• Prepare trailers for deliveries including cleaning interiors and fuelling reefers.
• Perform minor mechanical work on trucks, semi-trailers, and reefers as required.
• Perform truck and trailer inspections and report on equipment condition.
• Other duties as required.

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Semi Driver on a permanent full-time basis for our Transportation Operations team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

What you’ll do:

• Operate a semi-truck and/or body job unit which may include rural and city deliveries, city pickups, and spotting of trailers.
• Prepare trailers for deliveries including cleaning interiors and fuelling reefers.
• Perform minor mechanical work on trucks, semi-trailers, and reefers when required.
• Perform truck and trailer inspections and report on condition of equipment.
• Other duties as required.

You will work closely with other transportation professionals and will demonstrate customer focus by ensuring deliveries are made in a safe and efficient manner.

Who you are:
