Job summary

ALS is seeking a driver/warehouse associate to support client services with sample pick-ups, deliveries, and order preparation across the GTA, Waterloo, Mississauga, and Richmond Hill locations. You will maintain vehicle cleanliness, complete records, and prepare orders to client specifications.

The role requires a Grade 12 diploma, a clean Ontario G license with at least 3 years of driving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior shipping/receiving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills to handle fluctuating workload and prioritizing work.
• Attention to detail and great customer service skills required.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Good computer skills, including email, Microsoft suite.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the client services department with sample pick-ups deliveries, and bottle order preparation for customers requiring sampling supplies and sample testing services in the GTA and Waterloo area with specific responsibilities for the Mississauga and Richmond Hill locations.

Specific Responsibilities

• Conduct client deliveries and pick-ups as needed

• Ensure records and supplies are complete and accurate

Required Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma;
• Current and valid Ontario driver’s license (class G) with clean driving history and a minimum of 3 years driving experience. Abstract required;
• No physical limitations that would prevent the candidate from securing additional licenses or maintain current license (ex. Medication);
• No conditions that would prohibit the driving of long distances;
• Previous Warehouse experience will be an asset;
• Previous shipping receiving experience will be an asset.

Physical Demands

• Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks;
• Extensive walking or movement, bending, kneeling, and carrying;
• Able to stand or sit for a full shift;
• Able to climb stairs.
• You may be exposed to unpleasant odours;
• Please note that ALS operates 24/7 and will require day, afternoon, and graveyard shift work including weekends.

• An estimated hourly pay of $22.27CAD at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
