Job summary

Uni-Select Inc. is seeking a Driver for our Hanwell, NB location. You will prepare orders for delivery, verify invoices, and assist with picking parts as needed while ensuring timely, accurate deliveries.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will interact with customers and support in-store activities to maintain service quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery
• Verify invoices to ensure order accuracy
• Assist with picking parts for orders as needed
• Examine condition of merchandise at delivery and have customer sign-off
• Organize daily pickups and returns without disrupting delivery
• Record deliveries and pickups accurately with proper paperwork
• Comply with delivery standards and electronic delivery principals
• Report customer complaints to Dispatcher or Store Manager
• Check vehicle fluid levels and tire condition; keep vehicle clean
• Coordinate with Dispatcher on delivery progress and delays
• Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory
• Assist with customer service in-store activities and keep shelves stocked

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
