Job summary

Wajax Corporation is seeking a delivery driver to pick up and deliver goods within Western Canada, including occasional out‑of‑town runs. The role requires securing shipments, completing shipment paperwork, and daily vehicle inspections.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and 2–3 years of similar experience. Microsoft Office skills are required, forklift certification is preferred.

• Transport and deliver goods according to the established schedule, including out of hours delivery and pick‑up emergencies.
• Secure the shipment for transport, pallets, and boxes.
• Complete the various documents necessary to track the goods.
• Conduct the various daily inspections and ensure adequate follow‑up.
• Deliver goods on time in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean to project a positive image of the company.
• Perform any other duties as required, help in warehouse when not driving.
• Must operate the Tundra delivery vehicle in a safe and professional manner, while obeying the rules of the road at all times.

The Opportunity

The Role

• Transport and deliver goods according to the established schedule, including out of hours delivery and pick-up emergencies, potential for out-of-town deliveries on occasion.

The Candidate

• Education: High School; valid class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge: Competent in Microsoft Office. Strong computer skills. Forklift certification preferred.
