Job summary

Boart Longyear Ltd. is hiring drillers and driller's assistants for multi-year contracts in Canada. The role is physically demanding and requires safety-minded individuals who can follow instructions and perform hard work to support drilling operations.

Hourly wages range from CAD 24.90 to CAD 30.71 plus bonus. You will work with experienced teams, handling rods, tools and samples, while adhering to EHS policies and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Sufficient language skills, literacy and numeracy to perform all job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies, procedures and applicable laws at all times.
• Perform duties safely and maintain equipment and co-workers' safety.
• Maintain equipment life and train new Driller Assistants as needed.
• Assist drilling operations: handle rods/tools, collect samples, mix drilling fluids, perform basic maintenance.
• Operate non-drilling equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate daily drill reports and inventory logs.
