Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. in Stratford, Ontario is seeking a full-time Operator to support production lines. You will set up and operate CNC or manually controlled equipment, perform quality checks, and document data in production systems to ensure product integrity.

Qualified candidates have a Grade 12 diploma and a machining background or mechanical aptitude. Competitive wages and benefits are offered, with room for advancement and ongoing training.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, including CNC or manually controlled equipment.
• Perform problem solving and trouble shoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for quality
• Routinely check process/machine for basic maintenance and take correction action in a timely matter.
• Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
• Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
• Required to train other operators as needed.
• May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Position requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required duties.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
• Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix, and maintain certification through company Certified Operator Program.

Your Qualifications

• Education: Grade 12 diploma
• Experience: Equivalent machining background or mechanical aptitude.
