Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production processes, including CNC or manual equipment.
• Troubleshoot production issues to meet standards.
• Ensure quality and quantity of work from the process/machine.
• Perform basic maintenance checks and take corrective actions.
• Inspect own work with precision measuring tools.
• Record data in routers/IMS and other tracking systems.
• Train other operators as needed.
• Occasionally assist other departments or set up machines for others.
• Read and interpret production prints.
• Use basic computer skills to access procedures.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping.
• Maintain certification via the Certified Operator Program.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, including CNC or manually controlled equipment.
• Perform problem solving and trouble shoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for qualityand quantity of work produced by process/machine.
• Routinely check process/machine for basic maintenance and take correction action in a timely matter.
• Required to perform inspection of own work usingprecision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
• Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
• Required to train other operators as needed.
• May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others to operate.
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Position requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required duties.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
• Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix, and maintain certification through company Certified Operator Program.
