Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. in Stratford, Canada, is seeking a Drilling Machine Operator for the Weekend Shift.

You will set up and operate CNC or manual equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency in a climate-controlled production area. The role offers a weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday) with additional weekday hours, competitive wages starting at 30.62 CAD/hour up to 34.50 CAD/hour plus shift premiums.

Competenze

• Education: Grade 12 diploma
• Experience: Equivalent machining background or mechanical aptitude.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, including CNC or manually controlled equipment.
• Perform problem solving and trouble shoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process/machine.
• Routinely check process/machine for basic maintenance and take correction action in a timely matter.
• Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
• Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
• Required to train other operators as needed.
• May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others to operate.
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Position requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required duties.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
• Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix, and maintain certification through company Certified Operator Program.

• Competitive wages –starting rate: $30.62; top rate: $34.50per hour + shift premiums);
• WEEKEND SHIFT - 12 hours Saturday and Sunday, plus 8 hours during work week (plus weekend shift premium);
