Job summary

Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. is expanding its team with a full-time maintenance role. The position focuses on routine maintenance of industrial machinery, reading drawings, and communicating issues to a Journeyman Millwright.

Candidates should have a Grade 12 diploma and mechanical aptitude, with a plan to pursue the Millwright License (433A). Compensation starts at 26.81 USD per hour and tops at 35.86 USD per hour, plus shift premiums.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery.

• Identify/repair/replace defective parts; perform scheduled preventive maintenance.

• Competitive wages – starting rate: $26.81; top rate: $35.86 per hour + shift premiums;

Your Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance work on industrial machinery.

Read drawings and communicate problems to Journeyman Millwright

Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard and to deadlines

Troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns.

Identify and or repair/replace defective machine parts and equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance tasks on industrial equipment as scheduled.

Your Qualifications

Education: Grade 12 diploma

Experience: Demonstrated competency all facets of cell/department operations and high level of mechanical aptitude and/or hold certification in skills related to associated discipline.

Skills: Knowledge of Schaeffler production and quality systems. Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard and to deadlines. Troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns.
