Job summary

Glacier Blasting, part of NorLand Limited, seeks Drillers for FIFO work on site-based projects in Northern Canada. You will operate multiple drills for blasting activities and contribute to a high-functioning field team in remote locations.

Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, self-motivated, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and PAL screening may be required to obtain security clearances for explosives handling.

Qualifications

• Experience operating drilling equipment for blasting.

• Ability to pass pre-access site medicals, drug and alcohol screening.

Drillers - Northern Canada Project - 4/2 - FIFO + Camp

Glacier Blasting, part of NorLand Limited, is seeking Drillers for FIFO work on site-based projects in Northern Canada. Drillers will operate various drills for blasting activities, working as part of a high-functioning field team in remote locations. This is an excellent opportunity for those with experience in drilling and blasting, who thrive in challenging environments and value teamwork and safety. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

What You’ll Need

• Experience operating drills such as Ranger 800, Atlas Copco T30R, Hoe Drill, AirTrack, DML
• Experience with top hammer hydraulic drills (preferably Sandvik)
• Safety knowledge and experience in the construction industry
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid Driver’s License and drivers abstract
• Fit to work: ability to see, hear, walk, stand, and lift 25kgs
• Basic computer skills and English communication (oral and written)
• Ability to pass pre-access site medicals/drug and alcohol screening
• Ability to obtain Security Screening for handling explosives (PAL license satisfies this)
