The successful candidate will design and optimize drilling and blasting procedures, ensuring safety and compliance with site standards. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mine or Civil Engineering and 3 to 5 years of related experience. Strong project management and teamwork skills are essential. The position has a 2-week on, 2-week off schedule with various benefits including paid time off and health coverage.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of mine operations or engineering experience required.
  • Experience generating power automate workflows is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with both oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Design and plan drill patterns, explosives loading, and blast timing.
  • Conduct field inspections to verify drilling accuracy and blast plan implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and manage blast exclusion zones.
