About Staffing works with a number of clients in Calgary that are seeking exceptional Drafting Technicians. We have positions across multiple industries such as manufacturing, construction and residential development, to name a few.

The ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, possess a strong work ethic, and will thrive working in team environments as well as independently.

Required is a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a drafting role, a proficient understanding of a variety of drafting (CAD) and CNC softwares, as well as strong computer skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions for these roles include:

• Creating designs and drawings for clients based on their specifications and requirements
• Utilizing drafting softwares to convert designs and plans into technical drawings
• Operating applicable drafting equipment and workstations
• Ensuring the practical functionality of project designs
• Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle are required

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a drafting role
• Experience working with CAD and CNC softwares is required
