GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. is seeking a Dozer Operator for our Fort McMurray project. This full-time, long-term role runs on a 14 days on, 7 days off rotation with 12-hour shifts.

You will operate crawler dozers on stripping, road building, and reclamation in the Fort McMurray region. Candidates must have at least 3 years of dozer experience, valid Class 5 license, CSTS, and Standard First Aid. The position offers camp accommodations, travel support, and steady, year-round work with safety-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years crawler dozer experience, preferably D8+ for mine work
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
• CSTS-2020 or CSTS-09 and Standard First Aid, or willingness to obtain before start
• Ability to work a 14 days on, 7 days off rotation on 12 hour shifts
• Able to pass pre-access drug and alcohol test
• Outdoor work in Alberta weather and site safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Operate crawler dozers for stripping, spreading, grading, and reclamation work
• Push and spread overburden to design grade
• Build and maintain haul roads, ramps, laydown areas, berms
• Cut slopes and finish grade to survey stakes or GPS machine control
• Support excavator and shovel faces; keep work areas clean and drained
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logs
• Winter work including snow clearing and road maintenance
• Communicate by radio with haul trucks and ground crews
• Participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments
