Job summary

Potzus Ltd. is seeking an experienced Dozer/Excavator Operator for a project near Fort Qu'Appelle and other SK sites for the 2026 construction season. Safety is the priority while operating heavy equipment on earth moving and road construction tasks.

The role requires 3 years of experience, ability to lay material to finish grade, and the stamina for long hours. Overtime is available; accommodation and meal allowances are provided; health and dental after 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate dozer and excavator on earth moving and road construction tasks.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Complete maintenance logs and work reports.
• Work overtime and relocate or stay away from home with provided accommodation.

Day-to-day operations include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, and paving.

We are currently looking for experienced DOZER/EXCAVATOR OPERATOR for work on project near Fort Qu'Appelle, and other projects in SK for the 2026 construction season.

Job Details:

• Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job
• 3 years experience operating excavator/dozer in earth moving/construction setting.
• Experience operating equipment such as dozers, excavators, and front end loaders.
• Experience with road construction, slopes and finishing work an asset.
• Demonstrate skill in the identification of key hazards and use of strategies to work safely, such as; stability of soils, edges, excavations, stability of machine, and awareness of position, clearance, safe movement, other machinery/vehicles/workers
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
• Clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary
• Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance
• Complete all work reports and maintenance logs
• Overtime available.
• Accommodation provided if working away from home.
• Meal allowance if working away from home.
• Health and Dental after 3 months.
