Job summary

Autism Services in Regina is seeking an Equipment Operator with 1–2 years of experience to join our full-time team in the Regina area. You will operate excavator, grader, and dozer safely to produce a high-quality product, and handle daily maintenance and reporting.

This role may require some out-of-town work and overtime on a 10 on 4 off shift. You must have a valid driver's license and steel-toe boots; successful candidates will work both independently and within a crew.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years experience operating equipment
  • High attention to detail with strong health and safety values
  • Steel-toe safety boots required
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to site

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment (Excavator, Grader, Dozer) safely to produce a high-quality product
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks
  • Assist with site setup and cleanup
  • Keep detailed reports and documentation
  • Comply with safety legislation and health and safety standards
  • Provide feedback on customer or mechanical issues
  • Complete all necessary paperwork
  • Ongoing miscellaneous duties as assigned

Job description

Equipment Operator with previous experience required for full time position.

Work in the Regina area. Some out of town work may be required.

Job Duties:
  • Operate equipment as needed in a safe and efficient manner to produce a high quality product, Excavator, Grader, Dozer
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks
  • Assist with site set up and clean up
  • Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation
  • Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation and occupational health and safety
  • Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
  • Complete all necessary paperwork
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years experience operating
  • Valid drivers license with the ability to get to and from site
  • High attention to detail with strong values rooted in health and safety
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment with high physical demand
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Scheduling flexibility as overtime and out of town may be required typically 10 on 4 off shift.
  • Steel-toe safety boots are required
