Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. Langford, BC is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead the door pre-hanging facility, coordinating daily production, ensuring safety and quality, and supporting management with scheduling and planning.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership and communication to keep workflows aligned with production targets. You will mentor team members, monitor equipment, read work orders and drawings, and drive continuous improvement while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Lead hand or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing or door production preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools and materials.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings and measurements.
• Commitment to safety, quality and operational efficiency.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to maintain efficient workflow and meet output goals.
• Assist GM with labor planning, task assignments and progress monitoring.
• Train and mentor production team members.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specs.
• Monitor equipment and materials, report maintenance needs.
• Support communication between production, shipping and management.
• Promote safety and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and process enhancements.
• Serve as primary production contact in GM's absence.
