As a member of the Project Management / Estimating team and as a new member of our Ventri family, you will join a diverse, dynamic group of highly motivated individuals with a wide array of talents, skills, and backgrounds.

The Door Estimator / Project Manager will support our Southwestern Ontario customers and help achieve our goal of continued growth in the area.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  1. Utilize digital tools like Zoom Info and public tender sites to seek out new business, making contact via email and phone with prospective customers.
  2. Estimate costs for overhead door and automatic door related products.
  3. Perform follow-ups as required.
  4. Travel occasionally to customer sites to discuss new opportunities.
  5. Record account activity and opportunities in estimating and service software.
  6. Deliver and present proposals for new business opportunities.
  7. Maintain knowledge of products and industry trends.
  8. Develop and nurture strong relationships with the Ventri team and suppliers.
WHAT YOU NEED
  1. Motivated self-starter capable of working independently.
  2. Strong technical knowledge in a related area.
  3. Estimating and/or inside sales experience (asset).
  4. Desire for personal growth and improvement.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills; effective conflict resolution.
  6. Valid driver’s license.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  8. Industrial or technical experience (asset).
  9. Knowledge of overhead doors, automatic doors, access control, cameras, and gates (asset).
