Job summary

The Toronto Public Library Foundation is seeking a Development Coordinator to bolster fundraising efforts across Corporate, Foundation, Major, and Legacy Giving with a focus on Leadership gifts. You will support data, research and reporting to drive donor engagement and revenue growth.

Based at the Toronto Reference Library with a hybrid work schedule, you will contribute to Biblio Bash planning and donor stewardship while coordinating communications and event support for a dynamic fundraising

Qualifications

2-3 years of fundraising experience.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Campaign Monitor and/or Mailchimp.
Experience with a donor database such as Raiser’s Edge.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Log and save fundraising-related data to support revenue planning.
Assist senior volunteers and Executive office activity, including tracking prospect engagement.
Support the annual giving renewal cycle by pulling lists, tracking asks and logging activity in the database.
Coordinate pledge and gift commitment processes, ensuring accurate coding and filing.
Work with partners to deliver donor cultivation, acknowledgment and stewardship activities.
Conduct research for donor meetings, events and prospect identification; align on purpose and approach.
