Job summary

The Development Coordinator supports program implementation and coordination of development initiatives for UBC's donors, alumni, and students. This role participates in ongoing fundraising planning and ensures effective donor stewardship across programs.

Working within the Library Development unit, the coordinator maintains donor recognition activities and develops reports to support management decisions and donor engagement strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates donor engagement initiatives for fundraising programs.
• Writes donor and prospect solicitation materials and correspondence.
• Prepares fundraising proposals for senior management and external donors.
