Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum five years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one’s own
• Demonstrates a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and to fostering an inclusive workplace
• Extensive experience in print, digital and design coordination
• Experience in creative direction
• Knowledge of fundraising communications in a university environment
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with an exceptional ability to generate enthusiasm and interest in readers
• Ability to coordinate across organizational boundaries and motivate staff outside of their sphere of control

Responsibilities

• Develops, produces and implements communications programs in print and electronic media to support donor engagement.
• Coordinate donor recognition and reporting materials to support portfolio priorities.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, and vendor management for communications projects.
• Produce monthly reports to track production deliverables including website, email and intranet content.
• Liaise with internal/external clients to deliver integrated communications solutions.
