Job summary

ABB zoekt een Senior HR-Architect die de HR-architectuur over het hele ondernemingsveld definieert, bewaakt en evolutioneert. U vertaalt bedrijfsregels naar praktische richtlijnen en zorgt voor een samenhangende Workday-omgeving.

U rapporteert aan de Global Head IS Enterprise Architecture en werkt in een hybride model om de HR-technologie continu te verbeteren en schaalbaar te houden.

Qualifications

• 7+ jaren ervaring in architectuur of HR-technologierollen.
• Sterke ervaring met HR-systemen en platforms zoals Workday.
• Ervaring met HR-Integraties (identity, payroll, finance).
• Inzicht in privacy- en regelgeving rond HR-gegevens.
• Ervaring met HR-processen en operationele modellen in grote organisaties.

Responsibilities

• Definieer en bestuur de HR-architectuur en doeltoestand.
• Beheer principes en regels voor HR-architectuur.
• Ontwerp data-architectuur en integratiepatronen voor HR.
• Beoordeel oplossingen en architecturen voor HR-gebieden.
• Maak een HR-gedomineerde roadmap aligned met bedrijfsstrategie en HR-technologieroadmap.
• Houd documentatie up-to-date in EA-tools zoals Ardoq.
• Dien als end-to-end architect voor Workday-landschap en optimale benutting.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to define, govern, and evolve the architecture of the Human Resources (HR) domain across the enterprise. You will ensure the HR technology landscape is coherent, secure, and scalable, enabling consistent employee experience while supporting decentralized business needs. This role operates within the Enterprise Architecture function, translating enterprise guardrails into practical domain-level guidance for HR platforms and solutions. This role reports to the Senior Domain Architect for Functional Domains. The work model for the role is: Li#_hybrid. You will be mainly accountable for

• HR Domain Architecture & Target State, including HR capability mapping
• HR Architecture Principles and Guardrails
• HR Integration & Data Architecture and Data Distribution Patterns
• Solution Architecture Reviews and Assessments
• HR Domain Roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy and HR Technology Roadmap
• Up to date architecture documentation in EA tools (e.g. Ardoq)
• Serving as the end-to-end architect for the Workday landscape, ensuring the total solution is coherent, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with strategy
• Continuously reviewing the collective Workday footprint to identify overlap, gaps, and opportunities for consolidation or better utilization of native Workday capabilities before custom solutions are introduced
• Understanding the modules and capabilities of the Workday solution and staying up to date with releases and new features to advise how they could complement our landscape

Qualifications for the role:

• 7+ years in architecture or senior HR technology roles
• Strong experience in HR systems and platforms (e.g. Workday)
• Experience with HR integrations (identity, payroll, finance)
• Understanding of Privacy and regulatory considerations for HR data
• Experience in and understanding HR processes and operating models
• Proven experience in large, decentralized or federated enterprises
• Experience in functional capability modeling, SaaS and packaged application landscapes and cross-domain dependency management
• Strong executive communication and storytelling skills
