Job summary

Cementation Americas in North Bay, ON is seeking a Document Controller to establish, maintain, and distribute project documentation throughout the lifecycle. You will support compliance, version control, and effective communication among project teams, clients, and stakeholders.

The role requires 3+ years in document control on construction or mining projects, with strong EDMS skills (SharePoint / Autodesk Docs) and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in document control on construction, mining, engineering, or industrial projects.
• College diploma or university degree in a related field is advantageous.
• Experience managing controlled project documentation and familiarity with contract documentation.
• Ability to maintain document accuracy and confidentiality across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, distribution, filing, retrieval, and archiving of all project documentation.
• Maintain document control registers and ensure all documents are current and version controlled.
• Review incoming and outgoing documents for compliance with standards and numbering conventions.
• Coordinate document transmittals between Cementation, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Monitor document review and approval workflows and follow up on overdue actions.
• Prepare regular status reports and support project close-out by compiling final documentation.
