The ideal candidate will have knowledge of lifting techniques, freight handling procedures, and familiarity with shipping forms; this is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience with safe lifting and freight handling.
• Knowledge of freight forms (bills, manifests).
• Ability to operate a forklift and tablet.
• Willingness to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight from trailers using forklift or manual methods.
• Transport freight within the service center on non-forgiving surfaces.
• Monitor freight locations with Yard Management System.
• Read shipping labels and complete freight forms.
• Secure freight inside trailers with straps and airbags.
• Maintain safety and meet DOT guidelines.
