Job summary

Mace is seeking an experienced Information Management professional to redefine project standards and improve processes in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will lead IM strategies, quality control, and team management, ensuring compliance and effective data management.

You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Defines and delivers IM strategies, standards (i.e., ISO19650) and processes for client‑facing projects and programmes.
  • Establishes and manages the project/programme IM function following the strategy, standards and processes set.
  • Trains project/programme colleagues in IM practices and processes and drives awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Manages the assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts that are submitted and stored.
  • Line manages, coaches and supports the IM Team working on the project, as direct and indirect reports.
  • Contributes to global Digital Centre of Excellence including body of knowledge, processes, case studies.
  • Contributes to bids in terms of IM strategies and solutions.
  • Contributes to the set up, implementation and development of the Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Experience in Information Management (IM) across multiple projects and programmes.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and structured data management.
  • Experience supporting large-scale projects and programmes in IM and document control.
  • Proven ability to set up and manage document control and IM functions, including processes and governance.
  • Technical qualifications or certifications in Information Management (e.g., APM IM, Association of Information and Records Managers) or equivalent.
  • Subject matter expertise in key IM systems and software (e.g., Aconex, ViewPoint, Business Collaborator, SharePoint).
  • Strong knowledge of document control processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage and maintain accurate project documentation and data integrity.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to ensure effective information flow and compliance with IM standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification or experience).

The estimated salary for this position is 130,000 - 180,000 CAD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
