Job summary

Qualifications

• Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility required.

Dave McNeilly Public School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of Grade 1 Teacher.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Education Degree Desired Qualifications/Skills:

Strengths and experience in elementary

• A child-centred approach to instruction and teacher-student relationships

• An understanding of inquiry-based learning is an asset.
• An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal record/vulnerable sector check which will be reviewed to ensure suitability of the candidate for the position.

All candidates must hold or be able to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate, have knowledge of curriculum and teaching experience at those levels/subject areas and demonstrated interpersonal and classroom management skills
