Job summary

Boustan is seeking an energetic District Manager to support and guide franchise partners across the Montreal district. You will build strong relationships with franchisees, ensure operational excellence, and drive brand culture across all locations.

Key responsibilities include developing local marketing initiatives, coaching store leaders, managing P&L, and traveling within the district to ensure consistency and profitability across stores.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-unit retail, food service, or franchise operations experience.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of P&L, financial planning, and business operations.
• Passion for teaching, coaching, and developing others in a fast-paced environment.
• High energy and enthusiastic personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the district.
• Knowledge of local marketing strategies and customer engagement tactics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with franchisees to develop and execute local store marketing initiatives.
• Ensure stores meet brand standards in operations, service, and customer experience.
• Act as a brand ambassador, coaching the culture of the brand to store leaders and teams.
• Support franchisees with P&L management and strategic business planning for growth.
• Conduct regular store visits to provide hands-on leadership, training, and support.
• Build strong relationships with franchise owners to promote accountability and alignment.
• Travel frequently within the district to maintain contact with each location and ensure consistency.
• Provide strategic oversight and tactical support to location managers to align with company goals.
• Analyze KPIs across the district, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve productivity and revenue.

• Travel frequently within the district to maintain close contact with each location and ensure operational consistency.
• Operational Leadership: Provide strategic oversight and tactical support to location managers to ensure alignment with company goals and operational standards.
• Performance Management: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across the district, identifying trends and implementing action plans to improve productivity, revenue growth, and cost control.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years (preferred) proven experience in multi‑unit retail, food service, or franchise operations.
• Fluently bilingual in written and oral French and English.
• Strong understanding of P&L, financial planning, and business operations.
• Passion for teaching, coaching, and developing others in a fast‑paced environment.
• High energy and enthusiastic personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
