Job summary

EPCOR is seeking a Project Manager, Distribution in Edmonton, AB, to lead a portfolio of distribution initiatives that support growth, service connections, and reliability improvements. You will oversee planning, budgeting, approvals, resources, and risk management to deliver safe, on-time projects within budget.

The role reports to the Manager, Distribution Projects Management and emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; professional licensure (P.Eng./P.L.Eng.) preferred.
• PMP designation is an asset.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in electrical distribution systems.
• Experience with aerial and underground distribution construction is an asset.
• Ability to manage complex capital utility projects and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of distribution projects and programs.
• Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare charters with scope, budget, and resource needs.
• Monitor performance, budgets, and key risks.
• Secure funding and regulatory approvals for projects.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet delivery commitments.
• Communicate schedules, scopes and performance requirements to stakeholders.
• Oversee safety, regulatory compliance, and change control processes.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to address safety and environmental concerns.
