Job summary

Rising Edge Group in Edmonton, Canada, is seeking a Project Manager to lead the safe, on-time delivery of medium to large construction initiatives in the electrical sector. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will develop execution plans, manage budgets and resources, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all project phases.

A PMP and 3–5 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Technologist or a related field required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent considered a strong asset.
• 3–5 years' experience managing medium to large full cycle construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Initiate project setup post-award and ensure proper team structure and budget alignment.
• Develop and maintain the project execution plan with milestones and risk mitigation.
• Administer changes per established procedures, document impacts, and communicate with client and team.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including risk, schedule, safety, and quality plans.
• Monitor financial performance and ensure alignment of man-hour projections with actuals.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and subcontracted services to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Provide regular project reporting and lead meetings from kickoff to closeout.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
