Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking a Distribution Manager to oversee the distribution operations, inventory, and transportation to optimize performance while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires 5–7 years in distribution/logistics, a High School Diploma, and willingness to travel across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. You will coach staff, drive process improvements, manage KPI reporting, and align activities with production schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is a High School Diploma.
• 5–7 years of distribution/logistics experience.
• Willingness to travel across Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of the distribution team.
• Leads the distribution team by assigning tasks and priorities.
• Coordinates with other departments to align distribution with production and inventory needs.
• Evaluates performance and provides coaching and development.
• Implements and enforces safety policies to ensure compliance.
• Develops workflows and strategies to optimize distribution activities.
• Coaches staff to ensure successful integration into the team.
• Assists management in addressing operational issues and opportunities.
• Generates reports on distribution activities and KPIs for senior management.
