Job summary

Arc’teryx Equipment is seeking a Distribution Center General Associate at the Arc’One Distribution Center in Canada. You will assist in receiving, shipping, returns and value‑added services, helping ensure deadlines and safety standards are met with a team of supervisors and associates.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or in a team, and experience with scanners, ERP systems and MS Office. A forklift license and CSA‑approved footwear are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving finished goods according to vendor purchase orders and recording data.
  • Visually check products and store items in inventory.
  • Replenish stock and organize picking locations.
  • Pick products accurately from picking bins.
  • Pack, weigh and move orders; operate equipment for loading/unloading.
  • Prepare shipping documents and related paperwork.
  • Ensure daily equipment storage and safety compliance.
  • Maintain 5S practices and workspace cleanliness.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned.

DEPARTMENT: Distribution & Transportation

REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Warehouse

LOCATION: Arc’One Distribution Center

Your Opportunity at Arc’teryx:

As a Distribution Center General Associate, you assist in all operations (receiving, shipping, returns and value‑added services) in the Distribution Center. You work with a team of supervisors and associates to ensure deadlines and safety standards are met. You are a quick and adaptable learner with excellent attention to detail, and you efficiently move goods while maintaining an organized workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving finished goods according to vendor purchase order and accurately record information electronically
  • Visually checking product to ensure that it is in proper working condition and is not damaged and placing incoming items in inventory
  • Replenishing stock, organizing picking bin locations and racking levels by set requirements
  • Picking products accurately from picking bins by following orders from processor
  • Packing and weighing orders; loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment
  • Helping prepare shipping and other related documents
  • Ensuring proper daily storage and maintenance of equipment
  • Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met and taking responsibility for the stock security, cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
  • Assisting in maintaining 5S practices
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications

  • You have high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and flexibility
  • You have the ability to work well independently and efficiently without direct supervision and to work effectively as a team
  • You are able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • You have strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and professionalism
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions

  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment
  • You have CSA approved steel‑toe footwear

  • You have experience working in a warehouse setting and operating hand‑held scanners
  • You have knowledge of FIFO inventory systems
  • You can operate order pickers and power pallet jacks
  • You have a valid forklift license

The starting pay for distribution workers is CAD$ 21.00 hourly at the time of this posting, with a reasonable estimated pay range of CAD$ 21.00 - $ 23.00 within 12 months upon skill assessment.
