Job summary

The Home Depot in the DC area is seeking a strong DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive safety, efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced distribution center. You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates as needed while guiding daily operations to meet goals.

You will oversee 20–30 hourly associates, coach for high performance, maintain inventory accuracy and plan staffing in line with the business plan.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to relocate and flexible to work various shifts.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience with WMS and MS Office.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize distribution center processes, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Coach and develop hourly associates, conduct evaluations, and handle hiring/discipline.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor key metrics for productivity and quality.
• Plan staffing to meet production goals and manage resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
