The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking a Permanent Distribution and Collection Operator to maintain CGS water distribution and wastewater collection systems from Rayside Depot. This full-time role requires 80 hours bi-weekly; shift work may be required, and a valid driver’s licence is needed.
You will perform hydrant inspections, emergency repairs, piping work, preventative maintenance, and field tests. You must have Grade XII, be certified as an Operator in Training with plans to achieve Water

Main Function: Operate equipment and perform functions to maintain the City of Greater Sudbury’s (CGS) water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems.
Under the supervision of a Distribution and Collection – Supervisor II.

Development opportunity rate of pay: $30.14 to $34.46 per hour. The successful candidate will be paid at the reduced rate until the minimum qualifications have been met.
