The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to manage CGS construction and maintenance tasks at the Rayside Depot area. You will operate a range of CGS equipment, transport materials, and supervise a small crew, ensuring safety and adherence to procedures.
The role requires shift work and a valid DZ licence, with strong English communication. Development opportunities may apply for training and progression within the Department of Community Infrastructure.

Main Function: Operate various units of CGS equipment on CGS Construction and Maintenance properties.
Characteristic Duties: Under the supervision of a Foreperson.
This job is also being posted as a development opportunity. Should there be no fully qualified candidate for this position, a candidate who can be expected to meet the required qualifications within a reasonable period of time may be considered for this position as a development opportunity.
Development opportunity rate of pay: $30.59 per hour. The successful candidate will be paid at the reduced rate until the minimum qualifications have been met.
