We have an opportunity for a Distribution Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will create and analyze data from various sources, supporting the Logistics and Supply Chain team in activities related to the supply and distribution of products in Canada.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory accuracy between the warehouse WMS and AbbVie IMS (SAP), including creating and maintaining cycle count schedules based on product ABC categorization.
  • Ensure routine cycle counting processes are followed by 3PLs, including counts, documentation, review, and approval.
  • Summarize adjustments due to cycle count discrepancies for review and approval by Finance before making adjustments.
  • Track and trend inventory adjustments to ensure alignment.
  • File all cycle count documentation for audit reviews.
  • Participate in financial audits at 3PL, providing necessary documentation promptly.
  • Request ad hoc counts at 3PL as needed.
  • Review and file other counting documentation such as pick line audits and ad hoc counts.
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of customer inquiry investigations related to OS/SS/Incorrect shipments.
  • Run daily inventory reconciliation reports between 3PL and AbbVie systems, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions.

All activities related to ensuring EDI functionality between warehouse WMS and AbbVie IMS:

  • Monitor IDOC failure messages and process them as approved by Global IT.

Financial and Data Analyses activities include:

  • Supporting financial audits with shipping documentation and SAP reports.
  • Assisting the Distribution Manager with KPIs, invoicing, SAP and 3PL reporting, SOP reviews, and investigations.
  • Conducting month-end inventory KPI analyses, order accuracy, and returns reviews.
  • Providing 3PL invoicing reconciliation reports.
  • Analyzing, reviewing, logging, requesting credits, and approving 3PL invoices.
  • Running daily outbound delivery and returns reports, verifying outbound deliveries.
  • Supporting order management for cancellations, batch determinations, and SAP transactions.

Activities related to destruction, outbound orders, and returns include:

  • Creating manual proforma invoices for passive shipper returns and other returns.
  • Reviewing destruction requests and preparing destruction lists for approval.
  • Running delivery interface reports daily and following up on open deliveries.
  • Tracking destruction orders to ensure SOP compliance and proper documentation.
  • Reviewing and approving destruction invoices.

Qualifications

Education / Experience required:

  • Bachelor of Science or university degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering with five to seven years of relevant experience.
  • Project or program management experience; knowledge of supply chain best practices preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management systems (SAP ECC, S4HANA, etc.) is an asset.

Essential skills and abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to coordinate with third-party planning and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of good distribution practices (GDP) and Canadian distribution & transportation channels.
  • Supply chain certification (e.g., APICS CPIM, Lean) is an asset.
  • Greenbelt and Lean Six Sigma certifications are desirable.
  • Advanced analytics and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required.
