Job summary

Pacific Fertility is seeking a Dispensary Associate Lead to manage the daily dispensary operations on-site in Burnaby. You will lead a team, ensure accurate medication dispensing, and maintain strict regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role requires at least 2 years in a dispenser role, with Pharmacy Assistant/Technician certification preferred. Prior experience with PharmaNet and electronic health records is required, and fertility knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Are you an experienced dispensary professional ready to lead with compassion and precision? Pacific Fertility is seeking a Dispensary Associate Lead to oversee the daily operations of our state-of-the-art dispensary. This key role bridges clinical excellence with operational leadership, ensuring outstanding patient care and full compliance with all relevant regulations.

Location: On-Site | 500 4601 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC V5G 4X7
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Available weekends as needed

Your Role Will Include

As the Dispensary Associate Lead, you will:

Manage daily workflow, staff schedules, and dispensary coverage

Communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff, and physicians

Lead audits, ensure compliance, and produce inventory and usage reports

Oversee medication/supply orders and maintain vendor relationships

Train, coach, and support team members on SOPs, PharmaNet, and safety

Lead internal audits, SOP implementation, and quality control

Monitor medication shortages and conduct cost-saving research

Collaborate with HR and leadership on evaluations and staff development

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a dispensary role

Certification as a Pharmacy Assistant/Technician (preferred)

Experience with electronic health records and PharmaNet

Knowledge of fertility or specialty medications (an asset)

Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
