FED Group (Canada) is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to oversee daily dispatch operations for our marine and ground transportation services. You will lead a four-person dispatch team, monitor KPIs, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining a hands-on leadership approach.

We value bilingual English/French professionals with strong Excel skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, on-call environment. This role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote) and a competitive

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching or trucking/transportation environment.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on leadership and ability to motivate an experienced team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the dispatch department.
• Lead, coach, and support a team of four dispatchers.
• Conduct performance evaluations and employee development.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare reports in Excel.
• Review dispatch schedules and data entry accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with priorities, procedures and deadlines.
• Provide coverage during peak periods and vacations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
