Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced logistics professional to coordinate inbound and outbound freight, work with customers, brokers, and carriers, and ensure on-time performance.

The role emphasizes proactive communication, rate negotiation, and documentation accuracy. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in trucking/dispatch, a background in Supply Chain Management, and proven customer service skills in a logistics setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in trucking or dispatch experience.
• Educational background in Supply Chain Management or related area.
• Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of North American geography is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating inbound and outbound freight to meet daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers to address risks and ensure timely communication.
• Analyze lane data, on-time performance and costs to negotiate rates with customers and carriers.
• Communicate with customers, brokers, and carriers to resolve pricing, service levels, and documentation issues.
• Direct logistics activities: obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with providers, selecting 3PL partners, tracking shipments.
• Verify and troubleshoot shipping or customs documentation including PODs, BOL and carrier confirmations.
• Proactively communicate service risks to customers for proper resolution.

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.

Available Shifts: Morning/Afternoon/Nights

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating inbound and outbound freight to meet daily priorities and weekly transportation targets while ensuring a high level of service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers to proactively address service risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely, transparent communication.
• Analyze lane data, on-time performance and costs to effectively negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
• Communicate with customers, brokers, and carriers to resolve discrepancies related to pricing, service levels, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any discrepancy of quality, quantity, and schedule.
• Verify and troubleshoot any issues in shipping or customs documentation including, but not limited to, PODs, BOL and carrier confirmation.
• Proactively communicate service risks to customers to provide proper resolution

• 3+ years of experience in trucking industry and/or dispatch experience.
• Educational background in Supply Chain Management (or other relevant area such as Business)
• Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar work environment
• Knowledge of the transportation industry and North American geography are considered assets.
• Positive attitude with good people skills.
• Good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software.
