Charger Logistics Inc. in Brampton is seeking a motivated logistics professional to manage dispatch and customer service for inbound and outbound freight.

This role focuses on coordinating shipments, maintaining strong relationships with customers and carriers, and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery. You will analyze lane performance and costs, negotiate rates, and oversee documentation and communications to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in trucking industry or dispatch.
• Educational background in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of North American geography is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight to meet daily priorities and weekly targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers; communicate proactively.
• Analyze lanes, on-time performance, and costs to negotiate rates and ensure profitability.
• Communicate pricing, service levels, delivery schedules, and documentation issues.
• Direct and organize logistics activities including rate requests, carrier selection, tracking, and issue resolution.
• Verify and troubleshoot shipping or customs documentation (PODs, BOL, confirmations).
• Proactively communicate service risks to customers and provide resolutions.

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.

Available Shifts: Morning/Afternoon/Nights

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating inbound and outbound freight to meet daily priorities and weekly transportation targets while ensuring a high level of service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers to proactively address service risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely, transparent communication.
• Analyze lane data, on-time performance and costs to effectively negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
• Communicate with customers, brokers, and carriers to resolve discrepancies related to pricing, service levels, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any discrepancy of quality, quantity, and schedule.
• Verify and troubleshoot any issues in shipping or customs documentation including, but not limited to, PODs, BOL and carrier confirmation.
• Proactively communicate service risks to customers to provide proper resolution

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in trucking industry and/or dispatch experience.
• Educational background in Supply Chain Management (or other relevant area such as Business)
• Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar work environment
• Knowledge of the transportation industry and North American geography are considered assets.
• Positive attitude with good people skills.
• Good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software.
