Job summary

SUNSET GRILL ALL DAY BREAKFAST RESTAURANT in Calgary invites applications for a Dishwashing machine attendant. You will maintain clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas; replace linen; load buspans; operate dishwashers; sanitize mats, carts and waste units; and help with basic food prep and packing take-out items.

We require fluent English, reliability, teamwork and multi-tasking; no formal education required, experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Carry and replace linen belongings as needed.
• Clean and sanitize items such as mats, carts, and waste units.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Load buspans and trays for washing.
• Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glasses, and flatware.
• Place dishes in storage areas after cleaning.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Clean pots and pans as required.
• Keep track of food quantities consumed.
• Package take-out food when required.
• Portion and wrap foods as needed.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take customer orders when needed.
