Job summary

Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation is seeking active interest in Dishwashers to join the CSEC Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will know industrial dishwashing equipment and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Shifts are mainly evenings and weekends, with opportunities for growth and development. Join a team delivering exciting experiences at city events and venues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial dishwashing equipment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with evening and weekend shifts.
• High school diploma is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean all dishes, utensils, and silverware.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Maintain a high standard of safety and sanitation as governed by standards and protocols.
• Communicate with kitchen staff, cooks, sous chefs, and the executive chef.
• Actively participate in safety programs and follow polices.
• Attend pre shift meetings.
• Able to read BEO and setup buffet as required.
• Able to do closing shift till 1 AM.
• Must be able to read and understand chemical labels.
• Read and understand Stewarding SOP and follow the procedures
• Managing the dishwashing process including starting-up and running the industrial dishwashing machines;
• Follow instructions as directed by Chief Steward/Stewarding supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Clean all dishes, utensils, and silverware.

Shifts are event driven and consist of mainly evenings and weekends. Flexible availability is required.
