Job summary

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated, hardworking and customer service-oriented Part Time - Dishwasher to join our Stewarding team. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness of hotel china, silverware, and cookware while interacting with staff and guests in a fast-paced setting.

The starting wage is $25.71 per hour; after 6 months wage is $30.00 per hour; after 1 year wage is $34.28 per hour. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and flexible to varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must have excellent organizational skills and be a good team player.
• Previous dishwashing/stewarding experience is an asset.
• Must be able to work safely and keep areas clean at all times.
• Must have a good understanding of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of hotel china, silverware, and cookware.
• Lift and move items up to 40 lbs; frequent standing and walking.
• Support Stewarding team during peak periods and maintain hygiene standards.

A Dishwasher is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware. This person must have good communication skills and have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight. This is a fast paced position that will involve constant customer interaction.

Candidates must be able to work varied shifts weekdays, weekends including holidays(early morning, afternoons or evenings; as early as 6:00am or as late as 2:00am)
