Syndicate Hospitality Group in Calgary, AB is seeking an energetic Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to keep the kitchen clean, assist with meal preparation, and uphold food safety standards. This paid position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced culinary team in person.

You will wash dishes, assist with basic prep, organize supplies, follow safety protocols, and help with cleaning. Pay is CAD 16.00–CAD 17.00 per hour, with a lively team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and practices.
• Ability to perform basic cooking and meal preparation tasks.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced setting.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and sanitation procedures is a plus.
• Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently to maintain a clean workspace
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients under supervision
• Support the kitchen team in organizing supplies and maintaining stock levels
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld
• Help with general kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed consistently throughout shifts
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service
