Job summary

STK Toronto is seeking a Dishwasher to join our kitchen team, ensuring cleanliness, organization and sanitation standards while supporting the BOH team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

You will wash dishes, prep basic items, operate dishwashers, and collaborate with chefs and leadership. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with night and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen support is preferred but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and consistently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dishwashing areas, kitchen stations, and storage spaces.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper chemicals are stocked.
• Assist with trash and recycling removal and proper waste disposal.
• Keep floors, drains, and workstations clean and hazard-free.
• Store kitchen tools and equipment properly for use.
• Collaborate with BOH team to keep service running smoothly.
• Follow health department sanitation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Assist with basic prep work and food handling as needed.
• Perform tasks assigned by Chefs and Kitchen Leadership with professionalism.

What You’ll Do

As a Dishwasher at STK Steakhouse, you will be a key part of our kitchen team, ensuring that our culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your mission is to maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards while supporting the BOH team in delivering an exceptional dining experience.

What We’re Looking For
