Spicy Time Fine Indian Cuisine in Saskatoon, SK invites applications for a Dishwasher who is self-motivated with good interpersonal skills. Two vacancies exist in aPermanent/Part-time leading to full-time role with shifts including Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift and Morning.

The successful candidate will start as soon as possible. Responsibilities include washing dishes, loading, cleaning, and sanitizing the kitchen, stocking supplies, and assisting with take-out packaging.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Food Safety and Safe Food Handling certificates required.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, flatware, and serving items.
• Carry and replace linen; set tables.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Load buspans and trays; operate dishwasher.
• Package take-out food and assist with storage.
• Clean, peel, slice, and trim foods.
• Sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and polish floors.
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies.
• Dispose of kitchen garbage regularly.
• Sharpen kitchen knives.

• The candidate will be responsible for bringing clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas as well as setting tables.
• The candidate will be responsible for carrying and replacing linen.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must load buspans and trays.
• The candidate must be able to use dishwashers to clean dishes, glasses, and flatware.
• The candidate must place dishes in the storage area.
• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must clean pots and pans.
• The candidate will be responsible for packaging take‑out food.
• The candidate must clean, peel, slice, and trim foods using both manual and electrical appliances.
• The candidate must clean and sanitise the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must be capable of handling and storing cleaning products.
• The candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• The candidate must sharpen kitchen knives.
• The candidate will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors.
• The candidate will be responsible for washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must have a Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
