Job summary

Canada Life in Regina, SK is seeking a Disability Case Manager to proactively manage assigned disability claims (STD, LTD and Life Waiver) and to develop case management and return-to-employment plans during periods of disability.

You will evaluate medical information, communicate with applicants, employers and medical professionals by phone or in writing, and coordinate with employers to implement return-to-work programs and rehabilitation plans that meet employability goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience or training in health and wellness, disability and life or health insurance, injury claims, or customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills in a client-facing environment.
  • Effective planning, organizational and time management skills.
  • Solution-oriented with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Team player who can work independently.
  • Tech savvy and able to adapt to new programs.
  • Reliability Status security clearance required before access to Protected information.

  • Implement return-to-work programs and coordinate with the employer.
  • Conduct health care coordination and rehabilitation programs to ensure they meet employability goals.

In this fast-paced, results-driven environment, it is go time for you as you deliver client-focused disability solutions.

The Disability Case Manager is an integral member of a client service team proactively managing assigned disability claims by evaluating medical information and job duties, developing case management and return to employment plans during periods of disability.

What you will do:

  • Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access toProtected Binformation, assets or work sites as outlined by theGovernment of Canada website.

The base salary for this position is between $62,800 - $94,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
