Job summary

Visa is seeking a seasoned Director to lead the Visa Direct ecosystem development in Canada and the region. You will set strategy, drive issuer and partner enablement, and oversee governance, compliance, and performance to scale cashless payments.

The role requires deep payments expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory and operational challenges across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in the payments industry and digital money movement ecosystems.
• Strong ability to translate rules into actionable guidance for issuers and partners.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Visa Direct ecosystem strategy across issuers, acquirers, and partners.
• Lead multi-year ecosystem growth plans, OKRs, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable onboarding, activation, and scaling.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and policy alignment across domestic and cross-border flows.
• Drive readiness and optimization initiatives for new Visa Direct use cases.
