iA Financial Group is seeking a Director of Compliance – Business Conduct & Tier 1 Supervision to lead a large team across Canada. You will manage branch supervision, ensure system integrity, support advisors, and drive policy changes in response to regulatory developments.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge of IIROC/AMF/OSC/OBS I, and fluent French with advanced English. Occasional travel is expected in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of securities industry experience with leadership capabilities.
• Curiosity and strong leadership skills.
• Experience with regulatory bodies including IIROC, AMF, OSC, OBSI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and industry knowledge across multiple products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in French with advanced English.
• Willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of three Senior Branch Managers, 40–45 Branch Managers and Branch Administrators.
• Oversee day-to-day system integrity of compliance reporting, product due diligence, regulatory inquiries and support for all compliance areas.
• Support Senior Branch Managers and Branch Managers in servicing advisors and branches.
• Oversee the branch visit program, including supervision of frequency and scheduling.
• Develop and recommend policy and procedure changes based on regulatory events.
• Monitor new regulatory policies and assess impact on trade surveillance program.
• Train and develop Tier 1 employees.
• Draft and distribute Compliance memos.
• Act as Compliance subject matter expert on firm initiatives.
• Update Policy and Procedures and Forms as needed.

We are currently looking to hire a **Director of Compliance – Business Conduct & Tier 1 Supervision** to complete our growing team.This job is responsible for designing and maintaining the Business Conduct & Tier 1 Surveillance Program.
