Job summary

Canadian Red Cross is seeking a Director of Technology Infrastructure & Implementation to lead and evolve the tech and data ecosystem within Philanthropy. You will oversee Business Systems Analytics and Web Development, set strategic direction, and partner with Finance and other leaders to align technology with fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-12 years of related experience with 5-7 years in leadership and transformation roles.
• Experience in the non-profit sector is preferred; fundraising or marketing knowledge is an asset.
• Ability to translate strategy into operating plans and roadmaps.
• Strong ability to communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams in Business Systems Analytics and Web Development.
• Set strategic direction for technology and data ecosystem in Philanthropy.
• Establish data governance and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Partner with Technology Group, Finance, and leaders to align tech strategy with needs.
• Lead change management and ensure successful adoption of initiatives.
• Oversee vendor relationships and budget for technology investments.
• Develop business cases to secure funding for key initiatives.
• Monitor trends in AI and emerging tech to inform roadmaps.
• Establish governance frameworks to strengthen data and technology maturity.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance.
