Job summary

Canadian Tire Corporation seeks a seasoned communications and change leader for a high-impact 14-month contract in Toronto, Ontario. The Director, Technology Communications & Organizational Change Management will shape how technology-driven change is communicated, managed, and sustained across a complex portfolio of initiatives.

Overseeing Technology Communications and Technology OCM, you will act as a trusted advisor to Technology leadership, drive clarity, alignment, adoption, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Senior leader with technology, communications or change management experience.
• Experience advising senior executives and translating strategies into communications.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategic direction for Technology communications and OCM.
• Serve as trusted advisor to Technology leadership on communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Shape and oversee Technology's communications governance model across initiatives.
• Coordinate with Corporate Communications, HR, Learning to align messaging and reduce fatigue.
• Provide OCM leadership ensuring readiness, adoption, and stakeholder considerations are integrated into plans.
• Guide leaders through change, identifying impacts, adoption risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain and scale the OCM framework, methodologies, and standards across major initiatives.
• Monitor change readiness, adoption, and feedback to inform leadership.
