Job description

Are you a strategic leader with expertise in managing innovative partnerships and building collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholders? The Arts and Culture Trust is looking for a dynamic Director of Strategy and Partnerships to provide specialist advice, lead the development of strategies that foster growth and cultural engagement through impactful partnerships, and play a critical role in leading the transition of ACT’s ongoing restructure.

As the Director of Strategy and Partnerships, you will:

  1. Lead and influence the development and review of the strategic directions of the Arts and Culture Trust.
  2. Provide expert advice to government agencies and local governments on programming, business development, and community engagement initiatives.
  3. Monitor emerging trends in the creative industries and advise on policy matters.
  4. Direct planning, research, reporting, programming, business development, and marketing functions.

As a member of the Corporate Executive team, this position plays a broad role in driving the strategic direction, culture, policy, and overall results of the organization. This is a 12-month, fixed-term full-time position with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Note: This position is undergoing a classification review through the Public Sector Commission of Western Australia. The final classification and remuneration may be subject to change.

Conditions

A current Satisfactory National Police Clearance (within 6 months) is required prior to employment.

Applicants for permanent positions in the Western Australian Public Sector must be Australian citizens or hold permanent resident status. For temporary (fixed-term) positions, proof of eligibility to work in Australia for the contract duration is required.
